By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact our customer service team at Service@EgyptianCottonStore.com before placing your order.
These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
A Contract between the customer and The Egyptian Cotton Store Limited for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
While we make every effort to ensure that published prices are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Cancelling before Despatch
You may cancel your order any time before despatch by emailing Service@EgyptianCottonStore.com or contacting your customer service representative on 0845 226 0098. International customers please call 0044 1293 565 667. For customers who may have already paid, we will refund your money in full, the next working day.
Cancelling after receiving your order
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. However should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within 14 days of delivery and in the original, undamaged packaging.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20 percent of the original selling price from the refund amount.
With the exception of faulty merchandise, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange on personalised or made-to-measure goods. For reasons of hygeine and safety we cannot refund or exchange the following products unless they are faulty: Mattress toppers, duvets, piloows, mattress protectors or pillow protectors.
We recommend that you obtain “Proof of Posting” from the post office when returning goods for cancelled orders, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit. For your own peace of mind, you may wish to consider Recorded Delivery. Unfortunately, unless the goods are faulty we are unable to refund the cost of returning your order.
Upon receipt of your returned goods we will refund the total cost of the goods, as soon as possible, but no later than 5 working days after receiving them into our warehouse.

When exchanging goods
- if the items are cheaper than the items returned we will refund you the difference.
- if the items are more expensive than the ones you have returned, an additional payment will be needed.
Although every care is taken with each of our products, in the unlikely event of an item being faulty, we will arrange to collect the item, free of charge. A full refund or exchange will be provided, according to your preference.
Please read our “Care Tips” on the website and the care label sewn to your product, for laundry instructions, as we cannot accept items for a refund or exchange if they have been damaged during the wash.
Making Returns
To arrange for the return of any faulty products, please contact your customer service representative on 0845 226 0098 (calls charged at local rate), International customers pleace call +44 1293 565667or email us at Service@EgyptianCottonStore.com. We shall provide you with a Returns Number which must be clearly written on the outside of the package. We will then arrange a collection date with you and if you wish an exchange at the same time.
If you have requested a refund, upon receipt of your returned goods we will provide a full refund as soon as possible, but no later than 5 working days after receiving them into our warehouse.

You may pay by which method is more convenient for you. We accept online payments in a secure environment by all major credit cards. We currently accept Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo in Pound Sterling(£).
You may also pay with cheque or postal orders directly by post, if this is more convenient. We shall despatch your goods as soon as the cheque is cleared. We shall email you when the goods are despatched.
Our customers can be assured that at The Egyptian Cotton Store we provide the ultimate in security, to safeguard your Credit card details and other personal information, using the highest level of encryption possible (128 bit). No credit card details are stored on the website, or any of our servers, once payment has been processed.
All deliveries to UK and EC ( European Community) countries should attract no additional duty or Sales Tax. All overseas deliveries outside of the UK and EC may be subject to local import duties and taxes and may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. Please note that The Egyptian Cotton Store cannot be held liable for any local import duties and taxes, or delays in customs clearance
Our Products
We guarantee to you that all our bed linens, table linens, towels and bathrobes are crafted from 100% Egyptian long staple cotton. Our Bed Linen is exclusive to The Egyptian Cotton Store and designed by our London design team.
We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case we shall inform you immediately the order is received, and offer a full refund, an alternative product or notify you of the expected delivery date. The choice is yours.
Returning or cancelling your order
We guarantee to you to always act with kindness and understanding, if for any reason you need to return or exchange your order. Our customer service team will assist you as much in possible in providing you with the result you want.
In the unlikely event of any faults in our products, we will do all we can to rectify the situation by providing replacements, or full refund according to your preference.
Delivery
We guarantee to you that we will do everything possible to ensure that your order arrives according to your delivery method and instructions. The Egyptian Cotton Store takes pride in providing an exceptional level of service to our customers. As part of this we guarantee that all orders received before 12 noon GMT Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day. Delivery dates will be dependent upon the delivery method chosen.
In the event of fraud
We guarantee to you to minimise the financial risks when shopping with The Egyptian Cotton Store. The Egyptian Cotton Store does not hold any credit card details on our servers. In the unlikely event that your card is used fraudulently, as a direct result of being used to purchase from our site, we will assume liability for the first £50 of your loss. Your credit card company is obligated to take responsibility for the rest.

Express Delivery - UK Mainland Only

Orders placed before 12 noon (UK time) will be delivered the next day
Our Express delivery service is very useful for those urgent needs or last minute presents. This option is available on weekdays only. Place your order before 12 noon (UK time) on a weekday and we will deliver the very next working day. The charge for this option is £8.50. Orders placed on Friday before 12 noon (UK time) will be delivered on Monday.
Non-UK deliveries
We welcome orders from the USA, Europe and other countries. Delivery will be charged at £20 per delivery address for UK offshore and Europe. Please allow a maximum of 5 days for delivery.
Deliveries will be charged at £40 per delivery for all other countries. Please allow 7 days. Please allow 4 days for delivery to the USA.
If you place an order, and one of the items are on backorder, you may choose to have the in-stock items delivered immediately. The remaining item will be sent as soon as it is back in stock, with no additional delivery charge.
All our bed linens, table linens, towels and bathrobes are made from 100% Egyptian long staple cotton. We take every care to ensure that the description of our products is correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the interpretation of your computer software.
The Egyptian Cotton Store does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its member’s agents directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither The Egyptian Cotton Store nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of The Egyptian Cotton Store or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.
"The limitations of liability in these conditions shall apply equally for the benefit of The Egyptian Cotton Store Limited and any other associated company of The Egyptian Cotton Store Limited as if references to The Egyptian Cotton Store included references to each such associated company."
While The Egyptian Cotton Store uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and The Egyptian Cotton Store will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.
While The Egyptian Cotton Store takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, it does not guarantee that your use of this website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.

The entire liability of The Egyptian Cotton Store under or in connection with any contract for any products to which these conditions apply shall not exceed the price of the products, except as expressly provided in these conditions.
The Egyptian Cotton Store will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.
The Egyptian Cotton Store may assign or transfer any of its rights or sub contract any of its obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions except with the specific permission in writing of The Egyptian Cotton Store Limited.
No person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have any right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Nothing in these conditions is intended nor shall affect any of your statutory rights that may not be legally excluded.
